Webinar Introducing a New Book: Sustainable Design for Uncertain Futures: Dialogues on Time-Based Architecture
Join the Council on Open Building for a timely discussion with Joshua Lee and Joseph Murray, authors of the newly published book Sustainable Design for Uncertain Futures: Dialogues on Time-Based Architecture. The session will introduce the book and situate Open Building among thirteen time-based strategies that serve as an agenda for future dialogue and practice. The speakers will explore how these approaches help designers respond to uncertainty, climate change, technological shifts, and evolving social needs, offering practical frameworks for adaptable, resilient, and sustainable design.

RE:BORN: Everlasting Buildings in an Ever-changing World
RE:BORN develops real estate that is built function-free, so the possibilities are virtually endless. A building that can continuously adapt to new functions and remain flexible in permanent transition is what it's all about. Over the past 15 years, RE:BORN has (re) developed more than 250,000 square meters of inner-city real estate. The projects covered, for example, old buildings that were completely made new again and new buildings transformed into offices, hotels, homes or schools.
